At Big Dog, Little Woof we have 15 years experience of owning, training and working with dogs. We specialise in large working breeds, but can cater our offer to dogs of all shapes, sizes and energy levels. We understand the importance of building a relationship with our clients and their pets, and take pride in getting to know each animal's unique personality.
Our own pack includes two working line Belgian Malinois and a Weimeraner, as well as five dog savvy cats! Our previous dogs have included Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Lurchers and a Collie/Labrador cross.

Raven's
Story
Raven is a young working line Belgian Malinois, and is everything you'd expect of the breed! She is high energy, high drive, and loves to work. Raven has several walks a day, daily obedience training sessions, scentwork practice and will join a group walk each day for a run and play. Raven's favourite activities include using her nose to search for gun oil, mantrailing, running and swimming.
Odinn's
Story
Odinn joined us as a foster dog in 2020, and quickly earned a permanent place in our pack. Odinn was a serious abuse and neglect case, and needed complete rehabilitation - he has come on such a long way! Odinn has a more relaxed approach to life than most Malinois, preferring to have a couple of walks a day and obedience training on the weekend. Odinn has a small group of doggy friends, but finds it hard to trust newbies, so he won't join any group walks.
Bader's
Story
Bader joined us as a rescue in 2014, aged 10 months. Now 11 years old, he still has bundles of energy and acts like a 2 year old! Bader was rehomed as his previous owners underestimated the demands of owning a Weimeraner. He really is demanding! Bader is enjoying a semi-retired life, having done obedience training and gun dog work in his youth. He still loves to run, swim and play, but needs help to know when to stop as his body is getting older. He can be uncomfortable around unfamiliar dogs, so he won't join any group walks.
